Triund Trek

The most accessible Himalayan trek from McLeodganj. The trail starts at Gallu Devi Temple and climbs to a wide grassy ridge at roughly 2,850m with sweeping views of the Dhauladhar range and the Kangra valley below. Doable as a long day hike or an overnight camp.

Kareri Lake Trek

A high-altitude glacial lake around 30km from Dharamshala, fed by snowmelt from the Dhauladhar range. The trail starts from Kareri village and can be completed as a long day hike or a relaxed overnight trip with lakeside camping.

Indrahar Pass Trek

4–5 daysDifficultBest: May–June, September–October

One of the classic high-altitude crossings of the Dhauladhar range, reaching one of its highest passes with a 360-degree Himalayan panorama. A committed multi-day trek recommended for those with prior high-altitude trekking experience.
